Glacier National Park 2007
Glacier consists of pristine forests, alpine meadows, rugged mountains, and spectacular lakes. With over 700 miles of trails, Glacier is a hiker's paradise for visitors seeking wilderness and solitude. Glacier has only one road to cross it’s over 1 million acres and has been kept un-commercialized except for its historic chalets, lodges, transportation, and stories of Native Americans. Just outside the eastern half of the park is part of the Black Feet Reservation, who sold the land to the United States for the current park. (Click on Gil-bear to return to the main menu.)
