San Antonio Sky Line: This is the view from the 32nd floor of the Marriott overlooking San Antonio, The River Walk, and The Alamo. This consisted of two exposures, one over-exposed to capture the foreground and one under-exposed to reflect the rich colors of the sunset then blended together in post processing. Nikon D600, 28-300mm Lens @28mm, f/10, 1/60sec, and ISO 200.
Riverwalk: One of the main attractions in San Antonio is the "Riverwalk". This picture was taken while waiting for it to getter darker when all the lights were on. Taken with a Nikon D600, 16mm lens, aperture f/4, shutter 1/160 sec. and ISO 200. In hind site I should have increased my DOF by setting the aperture to f/8 to f/10.
Italian Restaurant: Located on the River Walk just inside the River Center. Great dinning experience. Nikon D600, 50mm Lens, f/4.5, 1/125sec, ISO 1250, and matrix metering. Shot at a higher ISO due to lighting conditions. It was dark outside when this was taken so there was no light coming into the windows.
Mission San Jose: The chain of Missions established along the San Antonio River in the 1700s is a reminder of Spain's dominion northward from New Spain, present day New Mexico. This is San Jose, built around 1720. This was the model mission organization and a major social center. Completely surrounded by a stone wall its residence were trained in firearms use to fend off Comanche and Apache raids. This was a place for the raising of life stock and the milling of grain. Nikon D600, 28-300mm Lens @ 28mm, f/10, 1/160sec, and ISO 200.
